A night of rhythm and blues in August will help raise money for Ballarat suicide prevention training.
The Beat ‘N’ The Blues fundraiser at Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club on Saturday, August 26, will raise money to ensure Ballarat and District Suicide Prevention Network continues to provide its important services.
Blues band Salty Dog will perform for guests, and live and silent auctions, raffles, door prizes and other activities will ensure action and entertainment throughout the night.
The major door prize is five nights’ accommodation for up to six people at Palm Cove in far north Queensland, the perfect escape from Ballarat district’s chilly winter. Fundraiser guests will dine on canapes followed by a two-course meal, and drinks will be available at bar prices.
Tickets are $65 a head for tables of six, seven and eight. Share tables will also ensure a seat for people who are not part of a larger group. Dress is smart casual and doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Ballarat and District Suicide Prevention Network provides a vital service for the region and your support of the fundraiser will ensure its crucial work continues.
